Mark Bostick Golf Course

Sitting at the edge of UF's campus, Mark Bostick Golf Course offers 116-acres of challenges, with 18 holes. The golf course, situated in the heart of Gainesville, has been around for more than 80 years and continues to be the perfect place for a pro-golfer. During pre-covid times, the golf course hots Gator Golf Day and a handful of professional tournaments, including Uf's own golf team. Tee times are from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with rates ranging from $25 to $45 Monday to Thursday. With such lots of your energy spent on golfing, the course also offers a snack bar to ensure you a place to recharge. If you're feeling unequipped, the course also has a pro shop so that you can get one step closer to your inner tiger woods. The course also hosts events such as the upcoming Top Golf at the Swamp in late April, where the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium transforms into a Gator-themed course.  

Ironwood Golf Course 

If you're looking for a place oozing with golfing expertise, check out Ironwood Gold Course. Located about 12 minutes from the University of Florida, Ironwood golf course also offers an 18-hole course for a seasoned golfer. Considered one of the best golf courses by Golfer's Digest, the city-owned course offers a fun-filled golf day. The course is open to the public and needs about five days before tee time. Private

Gainesville has plenty of private golfing options in countless country clubs all over the city. Gainesville's country club, located off of I-75, has a semi-private 18-hole golf course, with plenty of other amenities offered to members and guests. Haile's Plantation country club, on Archer Road, provides an upscale, luxurious golfing experience. The golf course offers both fun and views for its guests, with rolling hills and Spanish moss decorating oak trees.
