Classes can begin at ten weeks of age and last for six weeks. Group classes are small but are good for your dog to learn to socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. They also offer Private classes and class packages to purchase.
Petco is located off of Newberry Road near The Oaks Mall. They offer in-store and online dog training via zoom. Petco also offers different levels of class for puppies and adults along with private lessons and class packages. Puppies can begin at two months of age and each class is 6 weeks long.
P.U.P.S. Dog Training is located near the intersection of NW 34th Boulevard and NW 53rd Avenue behind the Pizza Hut. They offer private lessons including over the phone or online with zoom. For puppies, they offer a Puppy Primer class that is a virtual one hour-long session that goes over bringing a new puppy home, products you may need, and other important puppy topics. They also offer Puppy Kindergarten for puppies from two to five months of age, basic obedience classes, canine good citizen classes to advanced skills, K9 Nosework, and trick training classes.
Pepedogs is located north of Gainesville in the town of Alachua, right off of US-441. Pepedogs offers different levels of group classes starting at sixteen weeks of age and consists of five lessons for each level. They offer one-on-one lessons, video sessions, and even train-n-stay where you can board your dog in their facility and have focused obedience training to address specific issues. They also offer packages and programs to address all your training needs. Group classes are small and held in a grassy and shaded field on the premises.
Dog's play is located southwest of Gainesville in the town of Archer off Archer Road. They offer training, boarding, and daycare options. Training classes include Puppy Obedience, Basic Obedience, Agility, Tricks, Public Manners, and Private lessons. Each group class consists of six classes.
