The Palms Condos in Gainesville are located within walking or biking distance to downtown Gainesville and many opportunities to listen to live music near your apartment.

With so many famous musicians from Gainesville, such as Tom Petty and Sister Hazel it should be no surprise that live music is a popular thing to do around the city year-round. No matter your style of music, whether you prefer indoor venues to outdoor settings, we are sure you will find an endless selection of live music around your apartment in Gainesville. Let's get ready to rock, figuratively speaking!

TIOGA

CELEBRATION POINTE

If your apartment is near Celebration Pointe, you are in luck, as there are three options that offer live music throughout the year. The Playlist at the Pointe event is held in the Promenade area of Celebration Pointe on the fourth Friday every month and provides a mix of music in all genres, including country, rock, soul, and more. Jazz on the Green is in the same area and held every second Saturday every month. Enjoy live jazz music, food, drinks, and more. The Keys Grill & Piano Bar is the last option. They have live music almost every night of the week, including their popular piano shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. PS: they also have great food!

BO DIDDLEY PLAZA

The City of Gainesville is wrapping up the Live & Local Spring Concert Series but look for the summer series to be announced soon. Live & Local is a free, all-ages concert series featuring Gainesville's best and brightest emerging talent and held at the Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville.

ONE LOVE CAFÉ

One Love has it all from live music multiple times a week, food throughout the day including brunch, a kids play area, a full bar, and dog friendly. It is located in northwest Gainesville off of NW 39th Avenue, not far from Santa Fe College and Interstate 75.

4TH AVENUE FOOD PARK

As the name suggests, the 4th Avenue Food Park is an open-air food park featuring various food and drink vendors and offers many live music events throughout the year featuring various genres.

THE FLORIDA THEATER

Last on our list, but one that holds a lot of Gainesville history. It was built in 1927 as a movie theater and continues to be a go-to staple for movies, comedy shows and live music from country to rock and everything in between.

Gainesville has a rich history in music, and you are guaranteed to find many venues around your Gainesville apartment to listen to some live music, no matter your musical taste.
