Many communities have maintenance on call around the clock for the convenience of their residents. If it’s a leaking fridge or an overflowing toilet, maintenance will be there to take care of the situation. The leasing office should provide you with the phone number for emergencies and after-hours maintenance requests. If you’re community does not have 24/7 hour maintenance, you may have to wait until the office opens the following day to have the issue resolved, or you may have to call a company that can take care of your situation. Be aware that if you pay the bill out of your own pocket, the office may not reimburse you unless there is proper documentation.
