The Wynwood
The Wynwood is in a central location, with easy access to The Oaks Mall, Butler Town Center and Celebration Pointe.

Gainesville can be a shopper's delight if you know where to go! From the Oaks Mall and strip malls to quaint boutiques and farmers markets, you can pretty much always find that perfect gift or little black dress you need. Below are some highlights as to where you can go to satisfy your shopping needs.

The Oaks Mall offers air-conditioned shopping and features favorites such as Macy's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, Sephora and more. Strip malls and stand-alone shops surround this Newberry Road locale offering even more options for your shopping needs.

Want something homegrown or handmade? Check out the local farmers markets! Union Street Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Downtown Gainesville. Open year-round, rain or shine, the Union Street Farmers Market offers delicacies such as goat cheese and exotics such as orchids. Check out the handmade jewelry and soap while you are there too! Looking for a Saturday morning excursion? The Haile Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and features local farmers, crafts and goods along the tree-lined streets of Haile Plantation Village, which is home to its own unique boutiques and shops.

Love local shops and unique finds? Then hit up these shopping centers for all your gift-giving, Gator decor, and fashion needs. Thornebrook Village in Northwest Gainesville offers several boutiques and is quintessential Gainesville with its park-like atmosphere. While there, check out Ilene's for Fashion for unique Gator clothing and jewelry. Make sure to take home some sweets from the ever-fabulous Thornebrook Chocolates (pick up a white chocolate gator--yum!). Thornebrook Village even offers an annual art festival nestled alongside the shops. Located west of Gainesville, Tioga Town Center has several clothing and gift boutiques as well as wonderful dining options and a movie night on the square. Union Street Station offers wonderful shopping in historic downtown Gainesville with cute boutiques such as Simply Gorgeous offering Vera Bradley, Brighton, Lilly Pulitzer and fine gifts as well as Persona Vintage Clothing for men and women.

Butler Plaza area is also a main hub for shopping. With large stores such as Best Buy, Target, and Lowe's, you can pretty much find anything you need along this major shopping complex on Archer Road. Butler Plaza is also home to Pier 1 Imports, Michaels, Old Navy and many other mainstream shops and restaurants. There are many apartments near Butler Plaza shopping and dining, see the full list!

So whether you are needing to buy a gift or just want to get in some retail therapy, Gainesville offers much for the discerning shopper!
