Jaclyn Rhoads

Originally from Boston, Jaclyn currently lives in Orlando with her husband Jesse, somewhere between Hogwarts and Cinderella's castle. A graduate of the University of Florida's College of Journalism & Communications (Go Gators!), Jaclyn has a degree in journalism and a masters in advertising. She met her hubby her freshman year of college and spent 10 years in Gainesville before moving to Central Florida. She is a marketing professional and has worked in several industries including hospitality, healthcare, horticulture, finance and education. Jaclyn pays it forward to her alma mater, and is also an adjunct lecturer for UF's College of Journalism's online social media graduate degree program.

Jaclyn is a new mom to daughter Lily and in between diaper changing, feedings, and giving too many kisses to count, she enjoys watching Gator sports, and cheering on all her Boston pro teams. She loves spending time with her family and friends, visiting Orlando's theme parks, scrapbooking and anything to do with Harry Potter (yes, she has 2 cats named Hermione and Minerva, but no, her daughter Lily is NOT named after Harry's mum)!

Jaclyn loves to travel and is usually on the go with her family. In the fall, you'll find her in the Swamp cheering on the Gator football team. She is her family's self-appointed historian, taking photos, updating online albums and compiling printed photo albums. Have a question about Disney? She's your woman. She loves giving tips on how to best conquer Disney World. Heck, she even got married on Disney property.

Jaclyn is excited to share her knowledge of Central and North Central Florida to apartment seekers as she has been in the rental market not only as a student, but as a young working professional. She also spent her high school years in South Florida, so she knows many different areas of the Sunshine State. A self-proclaimed tour guide, she loves to share her experiences on what neighborhoods are up-and-coming and which areas best suit your needs.
