Most students that attend the University of Florida being their leases about a week before the Fall school year. Since most student communities follow the school year, residents will move in around mid- August, and move out a year later. Also, many students will leave the area to return home during the summer, therefore, securing housing for the following year and something that needs to be taken care of before they leave. For these reasons, many student housing properties will be just about full for the next school year before summer begins and it would behoove you to start looking well before summer.
